Well i guess Star Nursery is no longer DYI friendly! I stopped by to fill a few 5 gallon buckets of White Chad but was told they no longer provide this service. Not good for the weekend gardening warrior! Shame on you!

Spent nearly $800 on decorative rock, was guaranteed it would be delivered the following day. Past experience should have convinced me to go somewhere else, time before it was a broken-down truck, waited all day, no call. Yesterday, lady behind counter said they may call when they're a half hour away or maybe when they pull in and the topper "maybe they'll just show up". I bought 2 15 gallon Texas privets Columns for $169 each, one of them never came out of shock. 3 weeks later I asked the person that worked in the garden area what he recommended, he suggested adding DR. Q’S once a week to see if they would recover. They did not. I asked about getting a discount to replace it. They said no because it had been more than 30 days. Thanks for the advice. I guess I should have just returned it without trying to see if it would recover.

o oddly enough Star Nursery keeps deleting this post on their page. We bought a particular tree at the Blue Diamond Facility in Las Vegas. There were only 2 available trees on the lot we tagged ours, paid for ours and the fun starts. On Tuesday when our tree was to be delivered it never showed up. After multiple phone call with no answers it had seemed as though they lost our order. Then miraculously found it Wednesday and delivered a tree that was not the one we had purchased. The store won't take credit cards over the phone to order rock. They didn't do any drop-off shopping during Covid. They don't act as if they care much about regular customers who aren't contractors. The Inspirada/Anthem community has very few nurseries in the area and they know that.
