I have gone to literally every nail salon in a 30 minute radius of Cortland since I first moved here about 7 years ago. Since having Cathy do my nails at star Nail, unless she leaves I will go no where else. She does a great job and my nails are always complimented, literally every single time I get them done.
There is definitely a language barrier at this place. I paid $54 for a full set of gel nails and I have never had such a horrible job. After 2 days my nails are lifting and you can see all sorts of bubbles in the gel. This salon is awful I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.
I was just not happy with the service in comparison to what I am used to getting. Pedicure was expensive ($30) for what they give you. Paint job was sloppy... Communication was near impossible.
