The place is a bit outdated but the service and price were great! It was quieter than I expected although there is a train that runs by a couple times throughout the night, wasn’t too loud or shaking the place so I kinda enjoyed it. The owner was super friendly and accommodating. I will likely stay here every time I am driving through the area when needing a place to sleep. Cheers! Also, it was about $60 cheaper than any other hotels I’ve been to in a 50 mile radius. No roaches or bedbugs either lol
The management is very polite and courteous I have been coming here for over 14 years.And I say it has improved since my last visit and I do see improvement and the price is very good and for some that is homeless getting a room here is good send it is extremely hot and I would like thank management for a cool place to be out of the heat.
The last time I stayed there was no cleaning of the room and I had to ask for towels. But we had a warm heater and warm water for shower when we wanted but this time totally opposite and last time wasn't regular manager but this time it was and we didn't get our complaints resolved which was really disappointing after paying we told the manager our complaints and were met with it's ok it will get warm from heater we left all night. Great price comparison to other motels wifi air conditioning great location away from highway noice but yet not so far away local makers fuel food fast and the manager is so very kind and helpful if need , i highly recommend star motel to all people, pet friendly and parking right at your door
