Haven't even gotten onto the ferry yet and I've had an awful experience. First, we parked at the first lot we saw with the Arnold Transit logo. No signs there to tell you where to go from there and my 78 year old mother ended up walking way father than we wanted. A man we saw told us it was "the next dock down." Went there where the office was closed, two boats tied up, and no humans or signs. So I called the company and was roundly mocked for not looking online to see that they left from the "main dock." Wir haben am Vortag die Tickets für 2 Personen für die überfahrt nach Mackinac Island gelöst. ( 74$) Für das parken über die Straße noch einmal 10$. Das mit dem scannen des Parktickets hat nicht funktioniert ich konnte aber den Betrag in bar am Ticketschalter bezahlen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Übersetzung zur Insel hat problemlos geklappt. An und Abfahrt waren pünktlich. Das Bootspersonal freundlich. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist für mich okay. Wir würden wieder mit der Linie fahren.
Signage needs to be vastly improved. Also, if it rains be prepared for you and all of your bags to get soaked. Collecting bags in the pouring rain with absolutely no cover was not ideal.
I like that they are cost effective, even while traveling with bikes. They were always pleasant as well very nice. Treated us well. The ride is always a nice sight to go through.
