Absolute Pathetic & Unprofessional Experience Had an absolutely pathetic experience on my recent visit. After waiting 40 minutes past my appointment, I had to remind the receptionist—only then a student doctor appeared. She noted my symptoms, went to the main doctor, and returned — I never got to speak to the doctor directly. Requested a simple blood test repeat, was told to “use insurance.” No medicines, no advice, and my month-long stomach issue was completely ignored. I had an appointment at this clinic today at 11:15 am for a smear test. I arrived 5 minutes early, but I was still waiting until 11:50 and hadn’t been seen. what is the point for booking????and this is not the first time is the second time ,I felt that my time was not respected. Very disappointing experience — I won’t be coming back.
AVOID signing up here!!! Especially if you have ongoing health issues. They make you fill in an online form just to get an appointment or a response about anything and will ignore you completely. My urgent medication requests (all the GP has to do is approve my routine prescription) are ignored for months. I have *apparently* been on a waiting list for physiotherapy for 5 years despite having a metal spine and need urgent help but never recorded any written confirmation of referral. I came to the surgery in a state with housing problems the doctor said he would get me some practical help. Which he did by way of housing advice the advisor they gave me has been second to none, someone that actually cares , and went beyond his remit to help. I’ve always found Custom House Surgery have fit me needs, but I never thought there help would extend past medical, I’m feeling stable now , not sure how I would have coped without the help given to me Thank you
