Maybe it's The New Yorker in me, but when I walk into a shop @1:50 on a Friday and see 3 barbers cutting, 1 guy waiting, I expect it to be a breeze. He asked if I had an appointment, I said "no is that ok" and he said yes. They talked about sports more than they cut, after 37 mins of watching him fade the same hairlin, beard still untouched, & appointments start showing up I left.
