Don't buy the "protection plan" – Star has some of the best furniture in the Houston area. However, as all companies do, they try to sell you for an extra few hundred dollars, the almighty protection plan. Beware, the protection plans are SCAMS designed with fine print loop holes, just to get more money out of you. The fine print loophole to get out of covering: you must report the damage within 5 days of the occurrence, or it will not be covered, or I guess you could lie.
Back to the 80's with technology – First I would like say that I did purchase beautiful furniture. However, I almost left before I purchased it. They advertise 12 months interest free, however to get it, I would have had to go back to 1980. They do not have the capability to take a computer application; not in the store and not online. The application has to be filled out by hand and sent to Houston for a determination. I couldn't get the furniture and credit at the same time.
