Star is a great harp teacher! She focused on proper technique and looking for music that focuses on specific learning goals for her student's to master. I look forward to each lesson I have and can see and hear my progress thanks to Star!

I highly recommend Star as a music teacher! I have been taking beginner lap harp lessons online with her for a year, and she's taught me a great deal. So glad I found her. She personalizes the curriculum for me and finds pieces from a wide range of genres for me to learn; conveys a love and excitement for music, learning, and experimentation; she has a wealth of experience with techniques for practicing and performance; her teaching style is encouraging and positive, and it's really motivating.

I tried two other harp teachers before I found Star. They both wanted to teach me small harp as a means to play a larger harp in the future. Star was the first teacher I found who believes small harps have a value on their own and are more than a means to learn other things. I've had lessons with Star for over a year now and have progressed well. Star's teaching method is focused on pattern recognition and is well suited for auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners.
