Today (27th May 2026) at 11:19 am I witnessed a driver pulling into the Gold Coast Private Hospital and lose his patience at an elderly man crossing the road at the Main entrance. The poor old man almost fell over. Vehicle Registration 409YPJ Driver for the community transport car needs training on what the word 'community' actually means.

The transport division is always hard to get through to. The drivers great. However, I was due to get to my appointment today by 230pm. The car was supposed to pick me up by 1.41pm. It didn't show. I had to ring the main Star number to get through and was then offered transport pickup at approximately 210pm which wouldn't have got me to my urgent appointment in time. Luckily I was able to reschedule my appointment which doesn't help the pain I am in. My Care Coordinator and Support Workers are absolutely brilliant but the tr... read more
