Worst experience. Do not go here! Manager is rude and will try to rip you off to spend more money than you need to. have a small SUV - he tried to tell me I was a large 4WD and needed to pay more. He yelled at me and I drove out. Worst experience at a car wash.
Just attended this Mount Colah site and the man presenting himself as the owner was so rude to me, as a female alone I felt very uncomfortable. He lied telling me the $59 wash didn’t include cleaning the inside of the car such as the dash and console and said I would have to pay the $109 to get the dash cleaned. Had a mini detail and was super impressed with how new my car looks again. It would take me half a day to get it that clean, so I'll definitely be back again!
Dropped my car off at 9:30 and got notified I was ready to be picked up at 12:30pm. Spent the waiting time at Hornsby Westfield as there is a bus that goes there from right outside the car wash. $250 for an interior and exterior detail which was discounted from its original price as I went on a Tuesday and booked online in advance. Everything is nice and shiny and the carpets and seats have been thoroughly cleaned. All windows are crystal clear and car smells clean.
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Star Car Wash. Every time I’ve visited, they have refused to service my car. I’ve also heard from others that their cleaning quality is not very professional, but I decided to give them another chance because it’s close to my home and I was in a hurry. Today, I specifically called ahead to confirm that if I arrived around 4:00 PM, they would be able to complete the service within an hour. The person I spoke to confirmed that it would be fine.
