The meal was average and expensive. The place was cold in the middle of winter with a small open fire and the only other heater in the large room, turned off. It used to be a lot better!
Centrally located venue. Clean, well-appointed space. Served a delicious meal by helpful, efficient staff. Reasonable prices.
Went for a meal. Rang to book and had an Ai answer who told us we couldn’t get a table for over an hour. Hung up and went in and lots of free tables. Live music was a bonus. Meals pricey. Wife and father in law had gummy shark and chips with salad and they said it was good. I had pork belly and it was awful. Pre 1/2 cooked and sliced and then slices obviously pan fried. Tough as an old boot, fat not rendered and crackling rubbery. Overall a nice experience apart from a $36 pork belly that was not good.
I have been eating here for many years when staying in Launceston. I also have taken family and friends. In January this year I took two grandsons and as it was a Friday night we thoroughly enjoyed the live music while dining. The food and service was excellent. I recommend this place.
Our meals tonight were all delicious. We had a mix up to begin with, but as soon as it was mentioned, the situation as handled incredibly well and with grace. The whole experience was wonderful. Thank you.
