Saved my evening, ended up with a nail in the tire. Searching on Google found this store open till 10pm. Called them at 9.50pm and reached them, and in 30 minutes, put a new tire as the flat was on the outer edge and isn't safe to repair with another 2.5 hr drive left in the middle of the night. Can't thank him enough - you saved my day!
Expensive.
Im currently at a professional axle repair shop who confirmed this damage was directly caused by improper jacking. The bend lines up exactly with where their jack was placed. There is no rust, no wear, and no other damage—this clearly happened during their service. When I brought it to their attention, they refused to take responsibility and claimed it was “road debris”—which is completely false.
