Went to Staples today to pick up items for my non-profit and was disappointed in the lack of customer service from one of the associates named Rick who claimed to be a manager when I asked him. Later he corrected himself and said he was a supervisor. I received information from corporate that I confirmed twice; however the local store employee says corporate is wrong. Spent almost half hour of my lunch time in Staples trying to get through the check out line. Cashier who appeared to be "new" was having problem and after many, many minutes, called for a manager to assist. The manager did not appear at the register during the time I was there. There were many of us waiting in line and no one came to even assist or open another lane. Very poor customer service!
