I tried to return an item for my business after 30 days and Staples wouldn't return it. Gave me a number to call, which was busy all day. I won't do business in Staples again!
Been going here for 4 years now. Never had any issues in the past but there's always been to Personnel at work there that are female I've always been great. I always go there to blow some stuff up for disabled veterans to carve. Went there today that get something blowing up. And a lady behind the counter was the most rudest person I have ever met. The lady working would not print a sewing pattern for me because it was copyrighted. I contacted the creator and she responded telling me it was fine to print it and the copyright only meant I couldn't copy it and resell it. After all, a digital sewing pattern is meant to be printed and is completely useless if its not. I went back and the lady still wouldn't print it because I didn't have an official release. She was super rude and acted like I was lying. I won't be back for anything. Office Max it is.
I am not sure why Staples was closed at 1:30 PM during business hours today. There was a handwritten note on the door that said "Sorry, we are closed." Very irritating when I wasted gas to come there, as well as my lunch hour, in order to get a package shipped since this is the only UPS I could find in Ankeny that isn't a drop off location only. Thanks for wasting my time and money, as well as leaving me hungry (since I skipped lunch) and with a package that did not get shipped out today as it needed to. Very poor business p... read more
Dear Ankeny Staples. I went to your store today and visited the copy center. The employee was working on something for another customer. I waited patiently with no acknowledgement that I was there. I waited throughout a few songs and kept thinking that eventually the employee would let me know she would help me eventually. That never happened. With so many print/copy options to choose from, why would I ever choose this one when I couldn't even be acknowledged? The young man working the register was very pleasant though.
I just got off the phone with the copy center manager. She said they were unable to create copies of my files because they need a Waiver from etsy. Not the end of the world I have contacted them to resolve the issue and get a waiver. The problem I have was with her abrasive attitude and the fact that their copier "broke" yesterday before they started printing my files and how NOW they cannot copy them. I have been a long time customer at UPS for their printing services. This week, like many other times, I needed a few prints. Different amounts of different documents and sizes. After getting a phone call two hours before I absolutely NEEDED them, the owner at UPS told me to take my business elsewhere as they could not complete my request. IN went to Staples on Sunday 3/20 around 11AM to buy a desktop computer. Although they show a large selection on line and they only had three to choose from and they were on display under the laptop with no pricing displayed.The employee who was on duty knew nothing about desktops. He said that there was no one that could help me. I then realized that I had just wasted my time. A quick drive up the street took me to Best Buy problem solved lesson learned.
