Nice nature walk through the local forest but the wildlife/bird sanctuary is a disappointment.
Birdsacre is a serene avian sanctuary tucked away off the main drag in Ellsworth. I loved meeting the bird ambassadors and spotting songbirds while hiking the trails through the forest. It was a welcome escape to nature. Birdsacre is not to be missed!
They really care well for the raptors. Definitely worth a stop and to wander along some of the paths.
Beautiful birds and trails. We parked at the south entrance off grandview and hiked in. This would definitely be a frequent hiking spot for us if we were local.
