Came in expecting the get the BOGO and my friend also wanted to get the BOGO as well. We also had our new prescriptions as they said that was no problem. We also wanted to use our vision insurance. Well the lady said they do not take our vision insurance? Aetna and Tri-care? She wanted us to pay over a thousand dollars for 2 pair of glasses one each. Advertised 2 for 79.00. Well we walked out and saw that we just totally wasted our time with another false advertisement scam! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!
I am still trying to figure out how, BOGO frames and lenses + free eye exam advertised comes out to be over $400? (One set of frames was $139 and another $129 I picked out) My math comes out to $139 being the hig hest ones, but then because I had no choice I'm still over $200 in with no explanation as to why for a minor script. I want to say the in person staff are absolutely wonderful, especially the Office Brand Manager. The virtual appointment with Carlos was incredibly rushed. I explained prior to starting that my left eye is weaker than my right by a good bit so I'll probably need some more time when we get to that eye. Didn't care, rushed the appointment and was really short with me during my exam. Came in for the 2/$79 dollar deal, picked out two blue tag glasses (the cheapest ones on the rack) and got my eye exam. At checkout the total went from 79 dollars to 585 dollars. The 79 dollar exam fee was “waived” only to be replaced by a convenient 79 dollar “service fee,” as well as a $50 warranty for each pair. The associate didn’t review what I wanted and tacked on a bunch of extras without asking and only removed them when specifically asked.
