As others are saying in the reviews, my experience at Stanton Optical was disappointing. When looking for the right place to get my glasses the advertisements of Stanton optical looked promising. There was a great deal and same day glasses which I was in need of. Before Christmas of last year I stopped in to try to be seen. The lady at the front desk was very rude and dismissive. I was told to pay the full cost of an eye exam because I couldn’t find my insurance card. They refused to look up my information. I was later told by my insurance that I am fully covered and Stanton should not have charged me anything. Insurance reimburses you for out of network vision providers, not for in-network providers. When I showed up to fix this situation I was told the person who deal with that “kind of stuff” wasn’t there. I was given an email address to get this resolved and no one responds! I should have listened more careful to the previous reviews, but thought what the heck, they can get me in, let's keep an open mind. "Don't waste your time" as another person had put it. I was there over 3 hours and had to go back because they could not get the remote physician to sign off of the exam prior to closing. We live over an hour away, so honestly, not a good experience at all. I have not received my glasses or contacts yet, and will update the review if there are any issues there. I have been to Stanton on Telshor 2 times in the last year once for my husband once for myself. I have been going to Stanton for several years and this is the first time I felt moved to write a review. I was so excited to see Elisa would be helping me again today. She is AMAZING ! She is knowledgeable, provides excellent service and very friendly! We dread getting new glasses but she is so helpful. I highly recommend Elisa she will make it a great experience!
