On Wednesday, the day before Milton was due to arrive, I looked for an open optical shop to get help with mangled glasses. Stanton was open and Doug was ready to help. I showed him my glasses. He found a frame that fit my lenses. He popped my lenses into the new frame, cleaned them adjusted them and sent me on my way. Thank you, Doug, you're the best.

My "free" exam appointment was verified but they could not verify my insurance and told me to go to an incorrect website to verify. I got no help from the staff and another customer helped me to verify my information but that wasn't good enough and they had me call to verify and wanted my information emailed to them which was not allowed. I was treated with indifference by inept staff who wasted 1.5 hours of my time and a 35 mile round trip drive. I went to Stanton Optical to get an eye exam, reading glasses and new daily wear contact lenses. Upon my arrival my wife and I was greeted by Doug Fisher. Doug was absolutely phenomenal, he took the time to recommend I try multiple pairs of reading glasses, and gave me feedback on what looked best. He was super professional and patient with me, he made sure I ended up with a nice quality and attractive pair of glasses. Excellent customer service by Elva !!! Took my boyfriend to the Merced store and they said they are opening one in Los Banos soon! YAY, I don't have to take the long drive to Merced. Definitely recommend them!!! Super excellent customer service and quality. Omar in Merced is also great!!!
Don’t go here! It’s a scam & total waste of time. Look it up on Better business bureau. It lost its accreditation because of the poor customer service & satisfaction, charging people outrageous prices and it doesn’t even provide them with a correct prescription! Read the comments on BBB site. Lucky for me, I smelled the Tom foolery and walked out mid exam with the teledoc. I purchased two pairs of glasses from Stanton Optical in Medford, Or. I had one of the screws fall out so my daughter took it in to have it replaced. They used a screw that was too large and it split the frame a couple days later. So I took them in and they didn't care and all she said was "your warranty is expired so you have to buy new frames". What an absolute joke of a company.
Please don't risk your health! The people in this place are completely incompetent. I called to make sure they were implementing health & safety guidelines and they assured me they were, but I got there and it was all a lie. First of all, the staff there wasn't wearing masks, or had them on over their chins & I had to ask them several times to pull their masks up and wear them properly.
