Potentially the worst shopping experience in America! this might be the trashiest mall in America, it's hell on earth no matter the season. you can try using the bestbuy entrance in order to avoid the first floor, cause it redirects you to the second floor. if you use the street entrance you're in trouble!!! in order to go to the other side of the mall you'll have to pass buy the stands and they'll try to stop you and sell you stuff every single time you walk by. they're real hard on the pitch and sometimes you have to screa... read more
Okay Mall I think the mall here is okay because there are not a lot of stores in here. I wish there were Macy's and JcPenny. I do like the fact there is a Filene's and Sears because I do shop at these stores as well.
Cambridgeside Galleria This place is great! There are a good amount of department stores and chain stores and some stores that you may have never heard of. They often have coupons and sales available for the stores which are there, you just have to pick them up at one of the desks. There are shuttles that go directly to the mall, and the Lechmere T stop is only about a block away.
Hard to get to, but rewarding I go to Boston College, and do not have a car. For me, going to Cambridgeside Galleria means traveling from one tip of the green line to the other, which if you dont know is a HAUL. So I gotta say it's pretty inconvenient. But on the plus side, it is very nice! It's not too upscale, but has all the essentials for a college student. Eatery is pretty good too.
Great and Luxurious place This is one of my favourite shopping center since they have an underground parking spot and it is not that expensive compare to some other shopping malls in downtown. It is very clean area, busy but organized.
Everything you need Perfect if you're looking for a day of shopping or in need of something in particular. Great selection of stores in a bustling atmosphere. Parking is easy, but there is a charge. Easy to get to from just about anywhere in or around the city.
great for everyday Great place to go for normal everyday clothes shopping. They have tons of regular stores like Gap, Abercrombie, Express, etc. that you won't find at the Prudential Mall. They have a big food court and wide variety of stores. You do have to pay for parking though and they recently just raised the rates.
Don't go here unless you can handle a huge mall The Cambridgeside Galleria is located near the Kendall T station. But I suggest you take the free shuttle from the subway to the mall as it isn't exactly next door or easy to find. Once you are there prepared to be overwhelmed. Stores everywhere, glitzy decorations, massive and unhealthy food court, and people at kiosks trying to give you massages. No! I do not want a massage.
Changes This Cambridge gem has changed over the past few years. What used to be a jewel in the Kendall Square crown has become more of a cubic zirconia. A lot of great stores have left. The parking rate has also increased. However, it is great for shoppers who live in Charlestown or Kendall Square. There is a full service Fleet Bank there and a few delights at the food court. PROS: Only mall near Charlestown CONS: Parking, stores have left
