One of the best garage experiences I've ever had. I was at my wits end with a mystery intermittent gearbox fault on my Mk1 Skoda Superb, other garages were too scared to touch it, the guys at Stanton took it in no problem and managed to fully fix the problem in a matter of days including tracking down a near obsolete part direct from the gearbox maker ZF. Once again Barry at Stanton Automatics in Tonbridge has extended the life of my wife's late fathers 20 year old CRV enabling her to do her weekly trips from Hastings to Tonbridge. These guys are just brilliant! I can't recommend them enough. Completely different to your typical garage experience. I was really in trouble with the gearbox on my Mercedes B Class slipping. They could easily have told me I just needed a new one and charged me a fortune that I couldn't afford. But instead they bent over backwards to find time to fit me in when already over-booked and to try out a cheap alternative solution, fully warning me that it might not work, but saving me a fortune. What a fantastic experience. Really great guys who finally gave me a answer to my Volvo gearbox problem after others failed to get to the problem. And time was taken to explain the situation. I had a great experience! My gearbox seems really happy after the fluid change. I was reasonably quoted and it was followed through. I'm sure I'd come back in case of any problems.
