Stanthorpe Hospital’s maternity care is shocking. Staff routinely manipulate and coerce patients, ignore consent, and show no respect for privacy or dignity. Women are left exposed, forced into unwanted procedures, and given ineffective pain relief. Many young trainees seem more focused on money and ticking boxes than on actual care. If you expect to be treated like a human during birth, avoid this hospital at all costs!!!

Inexperienced staff. Full of cohersion, no respect of bodily autonomy. The staff keep secrets from patients. They only care about getting paid. They attempted to insert an unneed canula in my newborns arm, ten attempts later, my daughter's wrist was mutilated. They shoved a thick hose into her nose whilst staying that it was too big, THUS CAUSING my daughter to have breathing issues!!! The really big girl mrs raj is so rude they do no work its about a 5 hour wait with 0 patients in ED and 6 members of staff atleast she was to busy eating
