Stanthorpe is a small town, no professionals. Worst hospital. Full of coersion. No doctor respects your autonomy. They never admit fault either. Very medically unprofessional. Recently visited Stanthorpe (from Brisbane) and ended up at the ED there. I’m so grateful to Dr Michael. I’ve seen many many doctors before and he is definitely one of the best there is. His genuine care for all his patients was very clear and he is so funny which made me feel comfortable with him instantly. The nurses also spoke so highly of him and other staff. My sister lives in Stanthorpe and I’m so relieved she has someone like him out there should something ever happen to her or her family. Thank you, Dr Michael. 🙌

Worst hospital. Just gave birth there on the 8/11/2024. They never gave me a good estimated date for my child's arrival. They estimated from the start of November to January 1st. The cervical check I had there when my water broke, hurt so bad, they tore and damaged my cervix, thus resulting in my labour happening 10 minutes after. They never let me have skin to skin contact with my newborn, I didn't get to hold her until 14 hours later. Absolutely useless! Will treat u very poorly and judge u on ur past 20 years ago and not bother on checking what actually wrong with u! People r that sick and can't move and they still don't care, Had way to many bad experiences with this place!
