EYP designed a brand new building in North Adams MA for Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. I live near it and when the temperature drops near zero the boiler room air intake valve emits a constant noise which makes it hard for neighbors to sleep. This noise violates our zoning code. The winter temperatures in our area should be well known to the designers who should have called for a large enough air supply, adequately warmed, for safe operation of the boilers without disturbing the neighborhood.
