They told me I needed a new transmission before they'd even checked the transmission fluid. It turned out low fluid was the only issue, something I had to point out myself after being upsold for a full transmission replacement. I was charged $254 for a fluid refill and test drive, part of which they attributed to diagnostic work. Went to Stan’s because of the reviews and free estimate. After assessing my car they said they’d send me a quote. Waited a couple days, nothing, so I followed up. Said I’d have the quote by Monday. Still nothing so I followed up again. Couldn’t wait any longer so I took it to Mr. Transmission. Turns out Stan’s misdiagnosed the problem in the first place and months later I still haven’t heard from them. Avoid at all costs.
