I knew Dr Stanley Wainapel first, when I worked with him at St Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital on a Rehabilitation Unit. Over the years I found him to be quite an incredible physician, brilliant, kind, personable with a wonderful sense of humor. He would also play the piano for the patients at dinner time.
