I was in need of a repair for my blower fan on my car this last Friday as it was beginning to squeal. I called into Halterman's and spoke with one of the mechanics and got ASAP for the next day. They fit me in right away in the morning as it is clearly important to have a blower fan for your car in the middle of January. Great people, very pleased

I had a great experience with the mechanic at Stanley Truck Sales. I was traveling along Hwy. 29 from St. Paul, MN to Upper Michigan. My Check Engine light was on and when I stopped for gas in Stanley, there was some difficulty re-starting the car. I was told that Chad, the mechanic and son of the owner, could do a diagnostic for me to determine the problem. Without a doubt, the worst dealing I've ever had with a "professional." I bought a car from a co-owner of this place, and I was not only lied to but lives were potentially put at risk. The frame was welded and repaired in the back to hide the fact that the middle of the frame was rusted through to the point that the car was literally at risk of falling apart at any time.
