On July 15th Stanley Steemer came out to clean the carpets at our new home as a pre-move in precaution because we have grandchildren who will be crawling and toddling around on the floors. When we went back for our final walk through on the 17th before closing, the carpet was still wet and it had just begun to have a musty odor. I worked here tell you right now do not get this service for air duct cleaning big scam
Bryan and Kyle did a great job cleaning the ducts. They were very nice and cleaned up afterwards. Worth the cost.
Be aware, this is not an honest company.1) They did an extra job after i asked them not to, charged me for it...and as it turns out even cleaned out the wrong duct!. I have called them about 4 times and the dont return calls. Besides this, they offered an extra service to clean "bacteria" and upon checking..my ducts are still full of dirt. I highly recommend not wasting your time and money.
Very poor service. Their website says they move most furniture, but they just cleaned around two small chests, a small dresser, and a small bookcase, even though everything had been removed from them. They do not move beds, but instead of reaching under the beds, they just cleaned around them. All this in spite of the fact that I had removed all small items from both rooms. I will be using one of the small local firms for this type of work in the future.
The crew damaged one of my units while cleaning the duck work and unit! They told me they would not clean the unit but they did and damaged the pilot light!. The are not taking responsibility for this! I cannot recommend them!
I ended up buying a hoover because they left the carpet in worse shape than when they cleaned. Now I am on my 27th bucket of dirty water and it is looking so much better and smelling like it is not ruined. There is a God! I found cracker crumbs on the carpet which only means their equipment sucks or they are just nasty lazy workers. Never again!
I have used Stanley Steemer multiple times in multiple cities. This franchise is the worst I have come across. They were to clean four rooms of carpet and were in and out too quickly to have done a thorough job. They did not move furniture. How do I know? I moved a couch just after they left and found a dead lizard underneath it. They say they accept cash, but cannot make change as the employees do not carry any money. So I lost $8.00 and got a crummy cleaning job to boot. I do not recommend this franchise at all!
I recently wrote a review on Stanley Steemer franchise in Holland, OH. They showed my location as San Francisco, CA trying to disguise the fact that the Holland franchise provided a very poor level of service at a very high cost. My carpet was left so wet that I had to use fans to try to dry some of the wetness so that it wouldn't mold. Tyler, the manager, was so proud to tell me that they use 600 psi power on the wand to deep clean.
