I was disappointed with our first experience at Stanley Psychology. Before the appointment, I spent a significant amount of time by phone providing background information and explaining the reason we were seeking services. Our appointment was scheduled for 11:00 a.m., but the therapist did not come out until around 11:25. Once the session began, she appeared to have little information about why we were there and even asked whether we were seeking family therapy. I recently had the chance to sit in on the Hello Mansfield Talk Show and really enjoyed the “Talk It Out” segment with Stanley Psychology. The Therapist, Morgan Brown, shared a helpful tip about creating a “Calm Corner” — a quiet space with things like coloring or drawing to help kids calm down when they’re feeling frustrated, anxious, or angry.
