After a home inspection stated gutters are ineffective then actually having leaks and water issues.. supposedly fixed during one year warranty.. I’m still having issues and water damage BUT 2 months after one year warranty damage being caused by the lack of competent construction crew that’s not covered and now it’s out of my pocket. You’d think you’d fix the problem you caused that you didn’t fix the first or second time. I will never purchase a home constructed by Stanley Martin again.
We are from Raleigh/Apex area. It is very unfortunate, that Stanley Martin doesn’t even maintain minimum courtesy to ask the customers of the availability before confirming the schedules- walkthrough/ closing. To expect the customers (to follow the exact time and day of the given schedules) without any wiggle room is very UNPROFESSIONAL. We do not like your approach towards customers at all. We signed up for the home in May 2022. Things started good, close to closing, fishing was rushed leading to so much of imperfect finishing leading to so many issues. We never asked for rushing on completion, we were asking for a home that is complete without any issues. This message was conveyed verbally, through email and as well as in-person with construction manager.
