Lovely manor house setting with super room. Real wow factor ....but no spoons in room and no decaf. But fab coffee machine . Missing the little touches that give the extra special experience. No herbal tea/ hot chocolate . No decaf tea available in room or restaurant . Drink machine in restaurant ....not the best quality coffee . Service in restaurant for breakfast and lunch lacking. Staff polite but not engaging and didn't anticipate issues like stocking up on breakfast items.....several guests had to ask for items eg juice... read more
I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was amazing. The rooms were clean and beautifully maintained, the amenities were top-notch, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm, relaxing, and ideal for both leisure and business travel. The staff at the front desk were polite and professional, and check-in was smooth and efficient. I genuinely felt comfortable and well taken care of during my stay. I stayed at Stanley House Hotel & Spa for 1 night with my wife and teenage girls (1 who is 9 but acts 15). From the moment of arrival, until the moment we left, we were made to feel welcome. Special mention to Aamirah on reception who greeted us with a friendly smile and welcome, to Lina, the F&B supervisor, who insisted we enjoyed the brasserie restaurant for dinner, even with the youngest being quite fussy. Room was absolutely beautiful - we stayed in the Manor House. Absolutely breathtaking. The grounds are wonderful and peaceful. Little things missed in the room: no spoons to use for tea/coffee, not enough milk given.
