Same Rude experiences that everyone else has reported. I honestly don't know why metlife recommends this firm.
Stay far away from this law firm. If I could give 0 stars I would. I found them through the MetLife website a couple of years ago and worked with Sally on a will. Everything was fine so we decided to go back to them to update our will and start a trust. Our case was handled by Mary Jo. We filled out the questionnaire that she sent us as thoroughly as possible and even spoke to her on the phone to ask questions and get clarification. Terrible Experience with Stanley Bernstein Law Firm! I hired the Stanley Bernstein Law Firm through Metlife to handle my will, and it was hands down the worst decision I’ve ever made. First and foremost, they don’t even use secure email, which is shocking given the sensitive nature of legal documents. They sent all of my confidential information through regular, unsecured email. They do not have a way to securely send documents. Email is not secure and I will not send private and confidential documents through normal email. Companies doing business online should have a secure portal available for such file transfers. Beware
Was referred to this firm by MetLife legal for a prenup - wasted my time. Spent weeks filing out forms and emailing back and forth with the paralegal who then said she didn’t have time to work on our prenup?? All because my fiancé and I don’t want a cookie cutter prenup - we actually wanted to include detailed stipulations…very unfortunate to have been referred to this firm.
