Kathrine Phelps helped me in a very trying time, in a restraining order, custody an divorce case where things were as serious as they can get. Katherine battled for me, an we worked together to not only receive the custody of the children immediately but resolved the divorce, custody, and property as well. She was very informative an honest as well as prepared. She made sure the details were in place for success. This Law firm is a joke! We paid $250.00 hour consulting fee and then scheduled an appointment to come back with the paperwork and give them the deposit, however we found out the attorney is no longer employed there and that we must pay another $250.00 consulting fee or just hand the paperwork over and pay the deposit and be assigned an attorney, who would ever hire an attorney without meeting them? All they care about is the money and not the client, kinda of glad this happened we have read many other reviews now and glad ... read more

This Law firm is a joke! Stange Law Firm took my money and ran. A week prior to my divorce trial, I was assigned a new attorney and then withdrew from the case. I asked for a quit claim deed to be processed in order to refinance my mortgage and nothing happened. I also asked for visitation until the trial and my attorney made no attempts to enforce temporary visitation with my children. Kind of a waste of time to use them. They had us go to an arbitrator, another $375 each, to sort out our differences. That's what I would recommend doing. The attorney didn't really do much but sit fill out extra paperwork. And that cost a few thousand dollars. Plus I opened my case in St. Charles office but that attorney soon left the practice and the new attorney's office was in wildwood so he was billing me for travel time. I thought that was BS.

I fired my Lawyer, Mike Sloane. Didn't do much for my case. I fired him in November 2021. He had no clue what an Owners Draw was which was a big part of my case. I had to send him an explanation of what it was. This is Dec 28th and still waiting for my refund. At one point, they told me that my refund check was mailed on Dec 14 (i talked to them on the 17th). I saw Emma in the maryville office. She came highly recommended and without a doubt she exceeded every expectation! My kids are my world and the custody battle was beyond horrific....all I wanted was for them to be ok. More than anything I wanted just what I was entitled to...my 50/ 50 custody.  Emma is straight to the point. She  knows the law and follows it but also makes sure its fair and ethical. Like to watch money burn? Then these are your people. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR YOUR SERVICES. REPEAT DO NOT USE THEM. Misleading and Lies Mr. Rankin We met with Andrew Rankin to go over our case. He charged 200.00 dollars for a consultation that lasted 40 minutes. 15 minutes of that was him giving us his rates. The other minutes were used to lure us in by telling us anything and everything we wanted to hear. This case was very clear cut.
