Damon wayans Jr I at first had a bad taste in my mouth we call in to order our tickets and the option were 15 22 40 per tickets, I paid for 15 over the phone . When we got there the people in front of us paid 10 for tickets when I ask she sadi that they had a coupon , I ask them and they said they did not so after complaining I did pay just 10 more dolars for 2 tickets on the floor, I had the luck of the draw we had great seats next to the stage. Comics were very funny but the food was bad and they include a 18% gratuity on ... read more

Stanford & Sons Comedy Club is Shady Took my wife there last night for our Anniversary, paid $27 for tickets each. They posted a start time of 745. Didn't open the doors till almost 8. The guy at the door, OMG how shady. The guy at the front door was high. Dropped all the tickets and took him forever to pick them up. Then looked down and said to the other guy, we were in General Admission. I had to say wait we are on the floor. But even these seats were bad. You pay for the better seats, thinking we??ll have a nice time, the... read more

There are better options. I've been to Stanfords many times, and the overall feeling I get from the place is "shady". From the owner, to the staff, the customer service is just not friendly or up front.

Standford and Son's Comedy Club I am not a big fan of Standord and Son's Comedy Club. The times that I have gone there, the acts have not been funny and it seems like they don't get any big names to their place. But, I think the biggest problem for me is that fact that it is very expensive. You have a 2 drink minimum and the cost to get the tickets are high. The place seems dirty and unkept and the wait staff are not the friendliest. I say don't go!

Too Cozy for my tastes I enjoyed my evening there to see "Basil" from the voice of Bullwinkle. Even though there is an alcholic drink limit of two, I still had a good time. The room was very cozy though, and I think they sold too many tickets. It took the waitresses quite some time to bring drinks and appetizers, compared to normal turn around time. For the price of the ticket I don't think that I recieved my moneys worth, considering I was practically sitting on top of the person in front of me.
