I arrived to the clinic a few minutes ahead of schedule and waited in the lobby for what felt like an appropriate amount of time, possibly 6 or seven minutes. The associate who came to bring me to the exam room was very courteous and friendly. Then, one of Dr. Fredericson's team members, possibly Ian, began a brief consultation for the purpose of providing a clear and detailed explanation of the procedure I was about to go through, answered EVERY question I had, and assuaged any anxiety that I had brought with me into the ex... read more

I had an unforgettable experience at the Sports Medicine Division of the Stanford Orthopedic Health Center, where I was fortunate to work with the skilled Dr. So and the dedicated therapist Caspary-Isar. They took the time to wholeheartedly address my concerns about the troubling state of my shoulder. Had a hip replaced at Stanford. It was incredibly fast. I completely trust Dr. Lipoff and his PA Tim Preston. They did a great job on surgery my hip is healing ahead of schedule. All the staff at Stanford has been very kind and highly intelligent. Stanford is my preferred medical hospital and system. They have been able to care for where UCSF and Kaiser either ignored or failed.

Taking part in a clinical trial with Dr. Roh. He was extremely professional, answered my many (many) questions patiently, spoke to me at my level (didn't brush me off or dumb things down), and I really enjoyed my time with him. His bedside manner was top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to him again, for this or other orthopedic issues that are sure to come up (since my brain still thinks I'm 18, but my body strongly disagrees lol)

“What did you do to me???!!!” Just after surgery, I was wheeled into recovery. I had forgotten I was allergic to Oxycodone, and it was making me throw up. Dr. Lipof, the surgeon, stopped by,and I blurted out, “What did you do to me???!!!” He replied, “It was gnarly in there.” Major surgeries are a journey we take because we are at the crossroads. For me, it was a choice between continuing my busy life in pain or pausing to get a new hip. My journey was literally a journey, as I spend most of the year in South America and wou... read more
