Have been going to Stanford for the last few years, seeing several spcialist in different locations. Cannot remeber having ANY interactions that so many people have ranted about. Maybe they are just complainers about everything unless it's free, and they are waited on hand and foot. Guess what, folks: you're not the only patients at the hospital!
My son made an appointment to see a Stanford psychiatrist, but only saw a physician’s assistant.
In ICU, after brain surgery, in the first 4 days after I had my head drilled into, I got 1-2 hours of sleep daily/nightly due to pain level of 20/10. I was in agony. I begged for pain relief; my husband begged for pain relief for me. He emailed the doctor. He constantly asked the nurses. No relief. I was beyond agony. Then during the 4th night, my IV tape fell off. I called the nurse. She came in high and could not even figure out how to secure the line with tape!! I had to do it! 04.15.25 3pm - 04.17.25 12pm After multiple CT scans each incrementally showing slight improvement over the other daddy was transferred from ICU (500 Pasteur Dr) to the Recovery in H block at 300 Pasteur Dr. The nurses here, especially Ye-Ji Kang, Michelle Oh, 8 weeks-in nurse Shannon (blonde hair), and nurse Pearl were exceptional in caring for dad as well as for mom who had stayed in hospital from 04.11-04.17 also caring for daddy.
