My primary care provider is part of the Stanford Health Care Center in Emeryville. I love the central location of this doctor's office. There is free parking at their parking lot. The staff at this office is actually on top of things. I've never had trouble scheduling an appointment. My PCP Is dedicated, caring, and attentive. I highly recommend Stanford physicians for healthcare.
I REALLY like the staff, doctors, and location. It is perfect in that sense. I received tremendous care from the cardiologist after very alarming chest pains. But, I have to leave a 1 star review here because Stanford and my insurance company (Aetna) took advantage of me by ordering tests without any discussion for out of pocket costs that are MUCH higher than when ordered in other facilities because Stanford is an "academic institution". Don't schedule imaging at this location. They'll charge you and your insurance an insane amount. They need to be looked into for fraudulent billing based on the amount charged. Ask your PCP to send your imaging orders to any other cheaper place.
As part of my annual checkup I got referred to genetic test telling me it is covered by insurnace since it is part of annual checkup. They billed me $1720! Horrible. I would have never done it The bills are incredibly high
