WORTH READING I bought 4 replacement windows approx 10 years ago . 3 were side to side sashes that do not move smoothly and seem to let in almost as much cold as the original single pane windows they replaced .the 4th window is a double hung that I had issues getting it to lock almost immediately, they serviced it once and for a brief period it fixed the problem . But the problem has returned and because I can't lock it tight it let's in a draft that forces me to put plastic over it to keep the cold out . When I called them ... read more

Do yourself a favor and go with a more expensive/reputable company. Stanek is a joke. Probably all of the 5 star reviews are employees. Had all our windows in our house replaced with new ones from stanek. Window quality is subpar if that. They installed a broke window and said they would replace in 2 months or less. Here we are 6 months later and crickets. No follow up just the same answer every time I call them “still waiting for the manufacturer to ship it.” You would think they would keep an open line of communication wit... read more
Great sales guy, terrible from there. The installer was rude, left the windows dirty. The quality of the windows installed are not the same as what was shown at the sales presentation. Scratches and scuffs, black marks on the frames, one window has a chip on the inside of the window. When I called to let them know of the issues we were told the project inspector would call and /or come out. Nothing but crickets. The quality is on par with window world but for twice the price.
