I contacted Standard for an estimate on siding and window replacement. The office was responsive and pleasant, but the representative that eventually came out was very slow to reply to my emails or texts (most times about a week) from the very beginning. I was confused because emails came from completely different addresses than what they have on their website and their business cards. Because prompt and effective communication is important to me, we selected another contractor.

I called Standard for a quote to replace 2 exterior commercial doors and frames. Scott responded fairly promptly and came out to take measurements and photos. Almost one month later all I've heard is crickets despite several attempts on my part to reach out and see what's going on. That's no way to run a business, to my way of thinking at least.

I was surprised that he came over after we had the snow to fix my roof. He did a great job.

We had a great experience with Standard Windows & Doors. We had 3 new windows installed. They were responsive and professional, also not pushy. Highly recommend. We plan to use them in the future.

The installers were wonderful. But I am very disappointed overall. After accepting the initial quote and paying my deposit I didn't hear anything for months. I knew is was a long wait for installation but I didn't get a confirmation, and estimation of the date of service or anything. After months I received an email with the date that installation would be with no time, no instructions, no notice of how long it would take, etc. They showed up (when I wasn't there) and left the door outside, came back later and said they coul... read more
