Never answer the phone and never return calls. I have had this experience nearly a year ago and then the same experience recently. This company is the only upright MRI in the area, and they have no interest in their (would be) patients.
Jake & the front desk lady, Ms. Shayla are absolutely amazing!! Staff is very professional & beyond kind. As a Southerner i have rarely receive this level of exemplary service ; this place is a example of how service should be in NYC. This will be the easiest MRI you ever get. Jake understands how to comfort & help patients relax which is truly a blessing. I don’t see how anyone could ever say anything bad about this location. I tried to do the regular tube MRI and just couldn't as I have terrible anxiety, and panic disorder. I found this place online, made an appt. I had to wait for 2 months because I had to have an MRI with and without contrast, and they only do that on Mondays. I had a 7am appt, and the receptionist was very nice. No attitude whatsoever, which you find a lot now. I had to sign several forms which was no problem, then the technician called me and took me in the back. So apparently appointment time doesn’t mean anything if you come earlier and register earlier you will get see before your appointment time. I had a 7:45pm appointment walked in 7:30. Patient had a 8pm appointment but walked In before I arrived and he was seen. Will not come back!
I didn't have a good experience. I was nervous and in pain.The Tech was unfriendly and unbothered.He seemed to have issue with a "big" girl. I definitely felt fat discrimination.On top of that my doctor said it was the worst images he's seen.If you are doing it and you see it's not coming out right say something I will never return or recommend this place. The front staff is very friendly.
