My mother passed away and my sister was named executor of my mothers estate and I was the sole beneficiary. Immediately after my sister hired Stan Butterfield. Stan and his office violated my rights to reasonable request for information as the case progressed I was brushed off 90% of time until I threatened to report them only then was I given a call back and given updates. This law office is negligible and disrespectful and unethical and Stan violated the Bar code of Ethics in which I will be filing a complaint with against... read more
Stan is very prompt to respond and he is very professional. I didn't have the privilege of using his services, but, in my dealings with him, let's just say, he made my life much easier. We got saddled with a boat on our property and couldn't get a hold of the owners. He had been settling their estate and, after a few YEARS, we finally got the issue resolved. He was very helpful. If I lived in southern Washington, I'd hire him for legal services. I recommend him. You don't find many good attentive lawyers. He's one.
I just finished working with Stan Butterfield P.C., Attorney at Law and his staff on estate planning tasks and associated documents. I found him to be a good resource for estate legal issues.
Seemed friendly at first, but after a few too many questions to his liking, he refused to assist with our Will. Only go to him if money was no object and you never have questions about the cost of services.
