I would strongly caution anyone considering joining this gym. When I signed up, I was rushed through the paperwork and told to "just sign here." I specifically asked what I was signing, and the contract terms were not clearly explained to me. At no point did they say I was committing to a 12-month contract (yes I will never make this mistake again) Had that been clearly disclosed, I would never have joined. Great selection of equipment, friendly staff and patrons.
The main reasons that my friends and I switched to Stan Bennett's are simple. (1) you dont have to wait 45 mins or more for the "gym bro's" and "nob - heads" to vacate the squat racks,benches and deadlift platforms not to mention the rest of the machines. (2) The locker rooms and saunas are clean and we'll maintained. (3) The sound system which sounds great is kept at an exepteble volume and does not play gang- banger rap or anything profane. This gym is the best gym in santa rosa. I would even go as far to say sonoma county. There is a great community at this gym. They have an insane amount of equipment. There is like at least 3 of everything it seems. Sauna is always working unlike other gyms in the area that rhyme with honey pour tower. I came here for a day pass one day when the gym i used to go to didnt open at 5 am like they were supposed to 3 times in two months. They are always open on time if not not a couple minutes early.
