We moved into The Point Stamford about five months ago, back when it was still Urby, and unfortunately our experience has been very disappointing. When we toured, we were shown an apartment that gave us the expectation of a bright, high-end living space. Instead, we ended up in a second-floor unit with almost no natural sunlight, no real view, and a very dark, depressing feel. Update to my former review: unfortunately in the past 6 months this building has deteriorated. You cannot get replies to work orders or emails especially for amenities like the gym that they use as such an appeal on tours. The gym is a mess. 3 months ago I submitted a work order on the cardio equipment I use. Now both machines are entirely broken and no one can use. Great management and very responsive team. Everyone’s super friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
Living here has been incredibly frustrating due to severe maintenance neglect. My AC unit has been completely broken for over a week now (in late June). I have repeatedly contacted management, while a worker finally stopped by today, there has been absolutely no follow-up or resolution. Just crickets. I don’t think I can say good enough things for these people. I won’t even bother talking about the property, amenities and all that, you can see all of that for yourself. But the people, from the front desk to the maintenance, to the property manager, they are genuine, actual people, good people, every single one of them. Anytime we needed help, they were there. I have lived in many places, this one is special. We lived here for a year and now we are sad that we have to leave. Thank you Urby.
