I was in the hospital for CT scans and MRI´s this fall and also scheduled an out patient appointment. The process was very efficient and the technicians very capable and empathetic. I have only high marks to give the department,

It is impossible to schedule an MRI here. I called them no less than 10 times to try and get something scheduled and every single time they said they didn’t have a fax from my doctor, yet every time I called my doctor (another 10 times) they said said they sent it. I was finally able to schedule something and they turned me away the day of the appointment because they said they again didn’t have the fax from my doctor. This bad review is not a reflection upon the staff of the radiology department at Stamford Hospital. It is a review of the policies of the radiology department. We recently had X-rays performed at Stamford Hospital Radiology. We were told that we cannot obtain the films online for our own doctor to review and that we had to go physically to Stamford Hospital Radiology to obtain the films.
