Earned my Trust! I have been taking my cars to Jeff at Stainbeck for about 5 years and I will never go anywhere else. He has earned my implicit trust over these past 5 years. Quite often he talks me out of service. For example my brakes were squeeking and I told Jeff I need the pads replaced, he called me after inspecting and said the pads had at least another 20,000 miles of like on them, that this type of car didn't go through pads like my prior car. very pleased Very pleased....had a/c work done. I have a fair amount of car knowledge so usually know when a mechanic is being honest. Felt like he was straight forward and didn't try to oversell the work. Quoted a very reasonable price and completed the job on time. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust. I'll be back.
Not entirely happy I wasn't entirely happy with Stainback's. My car had been actiing up and I took it in to be checked out. I waited over an hour but was told it would take even longer before they could even look at it. If they had told me that upo front, I could have make alternate plans. Left without having anything done.
