All of the people are very nice and helpful ever the big crane people.
Took in a bit over 400lbs of scrap. Including old cast iron dumbells and was told.the weight is 260lbs. When I mentioned this they wrote the slip.for 260 anyways. Dumb bells are measured. Almost everything else was crowbar, pry bars, a lawnmower, etc. Got ripped off bad and wish I didn't weigh my own scrap so I didn't know how bad. Plus got paid below average prices for wire, steel, aluminum, etc.
This place must have been passed down to ungrateful and lazy family members, or they sold it to people that dont know how to run a scrap yard. Make sure you call ahead of time because a lot of times the website says they are open. Only for you to load up and drive there to find out its closed. Do yourself a favor and just go to York. Somehow York does it better, not much, but a little.
