John and Angel give great haircuts for reasonable prices. The shop is cleaner than most restaurants.
John at the Staging Area is the one to see if you have a child with difficulty getting his hair cut. For about 6 or 7 years my husband cut our son's hair because he would get so upset at salons. One person refused to cut his hair because he was crying so much and that was the last time I took him to a shop. My older son went to John a few times and recommended him so we gave it a try. Hands down, the best barber shop in Central Jersey! John and Angel are incredibly down-to-earth guys who work hard and make their craft look effortless. Their talent and dedication are truly unmatched. I only wish I had found this place sooner! They deliver great haircuts at fair prices, all while creating a social and welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place you thought only existed in movies or on TV—a true hidden gem. Highly recommend! I mean they have a front porch you can chill on while waiting your turn! Cmon!
As a parent, I was dreading the day I had to take my son Sebastian to get his haircut. He's always been so scared since he has been cut by a barber at super cuts and I was worried that he was not going to want to cut his hair. I moved here 4 years ago and have been going to these guys for basically the whole time. They are the best. Every time you walk in it's just smiles and good conversation. Not often you meet such genuine people. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone
