We were there last weekend and it was an amazing amazing place. Yes it was rustic, but very charming and well kept. A lot of people in our group were visiting from outside of the US and loved the vintage American charm. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and we loved utilizing the playground, pool, and saloon. Our group stayed for one night at the cowboy creek lodge. Upon checking in we were greeted with a huge warm welcome. It was fantastic. Very clean and had a beautiful rustic western vibe. All of the rooms were beautiful and western themed aswell. We paid for firewood and had an absolute blast, we loved the common room and the pool! This place has a beautiful atmosphere and we will be returning one day.

This place is absolutely terrible. They advertise that the rooms are no smoking, but the staff was actively smoking while cleaning the rooms and it was impossible to get the smell out during our 6 day stay. The water smelled and tasted so strongly of sulfur that we had to only use bottled water. The kitchen was very small and sort of gross. Common room was dirty, smelly, and full of bugs.
