We were on a road trip and stopped here for the night to rest. We were gonna go to the neighboring hotel but decided to stop here first & ask about rates & it was cheaper than where we were gonna stay so we went for it. Price was great, no deposit was asked, lots of parking, the lady at reception was very nice, checkout was 11am and she let us stay a bit later with no extra charge, that was so nice it meant a lot because we got there so late so we didn’t get much sleep, so that extra time really helped. The room was ok. Comfortable mattress and pillows. It was a little noisy Friday night, from what sounded like a football game (possibly at the high school 4 blocks away?) We were disappointed with the parking situation. When we got back to the motel on our second nights stay, just after 10pm, every parking space was taken. We ended up parking near the entry way, next to the office, where another car was already parked as well.
What a great little town. I can say this as a travel expert what a wonderful hotel and the employees and the owners are wonderful people. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place this is for you.
We checked in late and the night staff was very kind and courteous. The room left much to be desired. Paint chipped on doors, room was hot as hell when we first got in the room but the AC did work very well when it go going, the ceiling fan was very nice , shower was nice, toilet rocks when you sit on it, Wi-Fi is downright horrible, the king size bed was reasonable.
