RecommendedMy Mom moved into Villa Ocotillo assisted living in 2014. She later moved to the memory care unit in 2018. I cannot say enough about the caring staff at this facility. Mom made her wishes clear, she wanted to stay where she was at rather than be in the same city as family. Of course this made it challenging for us however the VO staff communicated often and would answer any questions we had. far too much to list for improvements
Different Management...who are encouraging, and show compassion. It needs to be uninstalled and rebooted. This is not Lake Wobegon by any means.
On the morning of May 15th I was informed of the death of my great uncle, Darwin Thompson. He lost his life to COVID-19 at the hands of Villa Ocotillo Assisted Living facility in Scottsdale Arizona. This awful place refused to test Darwin for Coronavirus even as he was begging to be tested on the last days of his life. Staff is super. From the top down and the bottom up. And everyone in between. They take great care of our father and are very responsive.
RecommendedAs an employee of stafford suites I have never felt so appreciated as an employee as I do here. Management is always there for you no matter what. Even if they have gone through their day they always answer their phone if I have questions or it’s been a crazy day and I need to talk. Management usually Brushes people off but here they care about their staff just like they do the residents. We love every single one of residents like no other and would do anything for them! Please for the love of god avoid this place, we placed my grandmother here and it was horrid. They have a massive amount of BEDBUGS yes thats correct BEDBUGS. We had to buy her all new clothing and rid her belongings when bringing her home. Please just avoid this place. It’s crazy to me that it’s still open and hasn’t been shut down.
