Im 100% p&t through the VA and got approved for property tax exemption. My home is currently in under contract to be sold, but is still my primary residence. I have mail forwarded elsewhere to avoid having packages sitting on my porch and mail overflowing my mail box. Apparently the treasurers office saw this, and told me I had to lay property tax because of my change of MAILING address. Currently trying to resolve the issue. Has anyone else run into this problem? No envelope to send tax check in. No address to send in taxes. Everything is set up to website or phone pay, both with additional fees associated with them. No payment address on the website. You are failing your people.
Very rude
Had some trouble switching over my personal property tax for my car from Prince William to Stafford County. Beth in the revenue office got it all sorted out quickly and was very friendly.
So they decided to tax me property tax for a vehicle which was not even in stafford.they took 100% of my wage ,me and my family didn’t get to spend thanksgiving because they took all my wage .without a notice or paperwork.when I have already been taxed in spotsylvania for the same vehicle . I hope they had a good thanksgiving.had to tell my kids we had no money.may my kids cry’s be a curse on them and their families
