I may have slacked on my personal property bill. But even after someone makes a payment, you’d think the “powers at be” would send a magical notice to stop any lien withdraws from your bank. NOPE! not one person cancelled the lien in a 2 week period after the bill was satisfied, now Stafford has my money in limbo. Thanks guys, working just as efficient as the government. Like to also add, when I called the county and my bank to figure out what was going on, the county magically sent over the notification necessary to reverse... read more

Im 100% p&t through the VA and got approved for property tax exemption. My home is currently in under contract to be sold, but is still my primary residence. I have mail forwarded elsewhere to avoid having packages sitting on my porch and mail overflowing my mail box. Apparently the treasurers office saw this, and told me I had to lay property tax because of my change of MAILING address. Currently trying to resolve the issue. Has anyone else run into this problem? No envelope to send tax check in. No address to send in taxes. Everything is set up to website or phone pay, both with additional fees associated with them. No payment address on the website. You are failing your people.
