I think the parking rate drastically change when there’s a “special event” nearby. I wasn’t aware of this policy before using it on a concert day at The Greek. The staggering rate was a fixed $30. I guess you pay for the convenience.
If you ever attend a concert at the Greek theater or a game of the University of California bears use this parking garage!
Good location for 2-10 hour parking. It's right beside the Memorial Stadium and the Haas Business School. Rates are affordable if you're staying in Berkeley for more than 5 hours as they have a $17 rate for 10 hours of parking. Only downside is that the spaces are quite tight and there are a lot of columns. Make sure to arrive early to get a good spot. Easy payment system (pay before you return to your car), but make sure to not lose your tickets as they will assume longer stays
